Tips om vindkomponenter

Motvind: Motvind: Reducerar markhastigheten men forkortar start-/landningsavstand. Generellt fordelaktigt for start och landning.

Medvind: Medvind: Okar markhastigheten men forlangar start-/landningsavstand. De flesta flygplans POH begransar medvind till 10 knop for start/landning.

Sidvind: Sidvind: Kraver korrigering vid start, landning och taxning. Typiska begransningar for latta flygplan ar 15-20 knop demonstrerad sidvind.
